Elise Falanga Taylor is the Democratic candidate for New Mexico House District 23, serving the Rio Rancho area near Corrales.

A professional actor and proud union leader, Elise is currently serving her third term as First Vice President of her local film and television actors union, where she has fought for workers’ rights and stronger protections for working families.

She has also worked in the New Mexico Legislature, helping constituents navigate government services and supporting policy work focused on New Mexico families.

Now, Elise is running to flip House District 23 beyond divisive MAGA leadership and toward representation that brings people together in Rio Rancho. She believes families deserve a representative who understands the real challenges people face because she has lived them herself - such as working in the gig economy, fighting for fair treatment on the job, and navigating complicated systems without insider advantages.
